Children's Ministry

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Sunday Morning

Sunday School

We offer Sunday School for children ages 2 through 5th grade at 9:15 am. We have age appropriate classes with experienced teachers who care for the spiritual welfare of our children.

Club Caterwal (children's church) starts at 10:30 am during the worship service for children ages 2 through 5th graders. Children ages 2 through 4 enjoy Bible story time, crafts, play time and snack time, while our older kids have a time of worship with a Bible lesson and small group time.

Nursery is offered Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for infants through age 2.

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed - 2 Timothy 2:15

Our AWANA program is offered Wednesday nights during the school from from 7:00-8:30 pm. We have classes for children ages 2 - 5th graders.
  • Cubbies: Children 3-4 year olds
  • Sparks: Kindergarten - 2nd graders
  • T&T: 3rd - 5th graders
AWANA stands for "Approved workmen are not ashamed" which comes straight out of the Bible in 2 Timothy 2:15. AWANA is an international, nondenominational Bible-centered children and youth ministry. AWANA is committed to evangelizing and disciplining children and youth. They do this by having club nights filled with game time, lessons, and songs to learn about becoming a born-again Christian, how to live a Christian life honoring to God, and learning Bible verses to help equip our children in growing as a born-again Christian.

Safe Haven

At Ephrata Bible Fellowship Church, we follow a Safe Haven Child Protection Policy. Each one of our volunteers in Sunday School, Youth groups, AWANA, Nursery, etc. abide by our policy and are approved by the Safe Haven committee and the Board of Elders. We follow this policy to assure that our children are being cared for and are safe physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. If you would like to volunteer your time to help with our Children's ministry, or to learn more please read our Safe Haven brochure and contact Diane Gehman.
