Wednesday Evening

AWANA

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed - 2 Timothy 2:15

Our AWANA program is offered Wednesday nights during the school year from 7:00-8:30 pm. We have classes for children ages 2 through 6th grade:
  • Puggles: Ages 2 - 3
  • Cubbies: Ages 3 - 5
  • Sparks: Grades K - 2
  • T&T: Grades 3 - 6
AWANA stands for "Approved workmen are not ashamed" which comes straight out of the Bible in 2 Timothy 2:15. AWANA is an international, nondenominational Bible-centered children and youth ministry. AWANA is committed to evangelizing and discipling children and youth. They do this by having club nights filled with game time, lessons, and songs to learn about becoming a born-again Christian, how to live a Christian life honoring to God, and learning Bible verses to help equip our children in growing as a born-again Christian.
Each group leader will provide parents & guardians with the necessary details for participation and a schedule of special nights & programs.

Parents are encouraged to attend the adult prayer meeting which starts at 7:15 pm in room 110.

Safe Haven

At Ephrata Bible Fellowship Church, we follow a Safe Haven Child Protection Policy. Each one of our volunteers in Sunday School, Youth groups, AWANA, Nursery, etc. abide by our policy and are approved by the Safe Haven committee and the Board of Elders. We follow this policy to assure that our children are being cared for and are safe physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Read our Safe Haven brochure to learn more and contact us if you would like to volunteer your time to help with our Children's ministries.
