EBFC Kids

Children's church starts at 10:30 am during the worship service for children ages 3 through 5th graders. Children ages 3 through 4 enjoy Bible story time, crafts, play time and snack time, while our older kids have a time of worship with a Bible lesson and small group time.

Meet the team.

Justin Long

 Family Ministries Director
Justin was born and raised in Lebanon County. He was blessed to have been brought up in a Christian home. God saved him when he was a young boy around the age of four. Growing up, Justin enjoyed going to church and being involved. It was during high school when he developed a strong desire to dig deeper into the Scriptures and minister to others. This culminated in him graduating from Lancaster Bible College with a degree in Student Ministry and Biblical Studies. Justin has served the church in various ways by teaching Sunday School, doing internships in youth ministry, being a camp counselor, etc. Prior to coming here, he served as a deacon at Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church. He has an evident calling and desire to minister to the youth and families of our congregation and believes God has been preparing him for this role. You may have seen him delivering your mail or moving a piano as he continues to work in the community. Justin enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, Rachel, and is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies.

Abby Stauffer

Abby has served as nursery coordinator at a previous church where she also helped run the Vacation Bible School program. She has been an educator in the public school system for many years and is currently pursuing her Ed.H. She is passionate about creating a safe and fun environment for the children in our church.

AWANA

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed - 2 Timothy 2:15

Our AWANA program is offered Wednesday nights during the school year from 7:00-8:30 pm. We have classes for children ages 3 - 5th graders.
  • Cubbies: Children 3-4 year olds
  • Sparks: Kindergarten - 2nd graders
  • T&T: 3rd - 5th graders
AWANA stands for "Approved workmen are not ashamed" which comes straight out of the Bible in 2 Timothy 2:15. AWANA is an international, nondenominational Bible-centered children and youth ministry. AWANA is committed to evangelizing and discipling children and youth. They do this by having club nights filled with game time, lessons, and songs to learn about becoming a born-again Christian, how to live a Christian life honoring to God, and learning Bible verses to help equip our children in growing as a born-again Christian.

AWANA Calendar

We are looking forward to have our AWANA clubbers back in the Fall!
We meet every Wednesday from 7-8:30 pm (during the school year).
